The interviewer considers inference-time computation very exciting and believes relatively few people are discussing it.

“actually doing like quite sophisticated inferencing processes and I interviewed Clement Bonet he had this searching latent spaces paper and he was kind of like searching a decoder to actually find the best programs to generate for Ark and we've got this whole you know and test time computation test time adaptation and so on so this whole thing about doing work at inference time is very exciting to me and I just don't think that that many people are talking about it.”
