Ryan Greenblatt thinks AI systems are fairly good at creating oral environments when given some guidance about what those environments should be.

“i'm not saying that that the human labor doesn't matter i'm just saying there's other there's other big drivers that are important here um yeah i mean i could try to i could try to argue for this i mean one one thing is just like the amount of environments people want or just like they're very it's a very large amount um and i think the ais are actually pretty good at the task of making oral environments given some some sense of what the the thing should be there's pre-existing data you could use i don't know a lot of these things have good verification loops”
